Využití aplikované behaviorální analýzy při rozvoji komunikace u dítěte se sluchovým postižením: kazuistika

Aplikovaná behaviorální analýza (ABA) nahlíží na jazykové projevy dítěte z hlediska jejich funkce. Dovednost požádat o předměty, aktivity nebo pozornost je z pohledu ABA jednou ze základních funkcí komunikace. Náš příspěvek popisuje průběh a výsledky intervence s využitím systému rozvoje verbálního chování (ABA/ VB) u pětiletého dítěte s dlouhodobou auditivní deprivací. Individuální terapeutický program se zaměřil na rozvoj dovednosti požádat znakem o oblíbené věci a aktivity. Pravidelné supervize matky a přímá intervence u dítěte vedly k vyšší samostatnosti, četnosti a variabilitě žádostí dítěte v přirozeném komunikačním prostředí. ABA/ VB intervence může působit jako efektivní prostředek rozvoje funkční komunikace u dětí se sluchovým postižením.

Overview

Applied behaviour analysis (ABA) looks at a child’s language expressions in terms of their function. From the perspective of ABA, the ability to request objects, activities and attention is one of the basic functions of communication. Our paper describes the course and results of the intervention aimed at developing verbal behaviour (ABA/VB) in a five-year-old child with long-term auditory deprivation. The individualised treatment plan focused on developing the skill of requesting favourite things and activities using sign language. Regular supervision of the mother and direct intervention with the child led to greater independence, frequency and variability in the child’s requests in a natural communicative environment. ABA/VB intervention can be an effective means of developing functional communication in children with hearing impairment.
