Inhalatory Application of Nitric Oxide (iNO) Using a SimpleMethod West ®
The light of the smoking cigarette was connected into an inspiratory line about 30 cm far from an electroche-mical sensor for detection of inhaled nitric oxide (iNO, SensorNOx, Sensormedics, Yorba Linda, CA). In in vitroexperiments antiadiabatic model of neonatal lung was used and two types of high frequency oscillators (Sensor-medics 3100A and Infant Star). Four ventilator settings were tested for measurement of iNO and iNO2 in theventilator circuits with continuous back up flow 6 - 10 L/min. Concentrations of iNO in the range 10 - 83 ppm anda zero concentration of NO2 was detected 30 min after starting the experiments. These concentrations are in therange used frequently in clinical practice.

Overview
V pokusech in vitro bylopoužito antiadiabetického modelu neonatálních plic a dva typy vysokofrekvenčních oscilátorů (Sensormedics 3100a Infant Star).
Key words:
