Metastasis of Laryngeal Cancer into the Penis
Metastáza karcinomuhrtanu do penisu
Autoři popisují případ neobvyklé vzdálené metastázy karcinomu hrtanu.U šestačtyřicetiletéhomuže byla pro transglotický karcinom hrtanu provedena totální laryngektomie s blokovoudisekcí a následnou radioterapií. Téměř rok od operace bylo zjištěno metastatické postiženípenisu, a to bez přítomnosti lokoregionální recidivy. I přes radikální chirurgické řešení s následnouchemoterapií dochází ke generalizaci onemocnění a osmnáct měsíců po provedenítotální laryngektomie pacient umírá.

The authors describe the case of an unusual remote secondary of laryngeal cancer. In a46-year-old man on account of transglotic laryngeal cancer total laryngectomy was performedwith block dissection and subsequent radiotherapy. Almost one year after surgery a metastaticaffection of the penis was found without the presence of a locoregional relapse. Despite theradical surgical solution with subsequent chemotherapy generalization of the disease occurredand 18 months after total laryngectomy the patient died.
