Možnosti péče o jedince postižené infekcí SARS-CoV-2

Care options for individuals affected by SARS-CoV-2 infection

In this work, the authors would like to share their experience in laboratory diagnostics and in the care of individuals affected by SARS-CoV-2 infection and in the early stages of the disease of COVID-19 that this infection can cause. It is based on the results of tests that were carried out in the laboratories of Spadia Lab Ostrava during the gradual introduction and internal verification of laboratory methods in the diagnosis of this infection into routine practice, on the experience of caring for such individuals in the AKIMED Brno outpatient clinic and the knowledge obtained with them from the available literature on this issue. The author's opinions on the current state of laboratory diagnosis of this infection and the disease caused by it and the possibility of streamlining the care of people affected by this infection and the disease, especially in their early stages, are presented for discussion, even though they are aware that their set of people on whom the data was for the study obtained is small and limiting. Súhrn

V tomto příspěvku by se autoři rádi podělili o své zkušenosti v laboratorní diagnostice a v péči o jedince postižené infekcí SARS-CoV-2 a ve včasných stádiích onemocnění COVID-19, které tato infekce může vyvolávat. Vycházejí při tom z výsledků testů, které byly prováděny v laboratořích Spadie Lab Ostrava při postupném zavádění a interní verifikace laboratorních metod v diagnostice této infekce do rutinní praxe, ze zkušeností s péčí o takovéto jedince v ambulanci AKIMED Brno a poznatků získaných z jim dostupné literatury k této problematice. K diskusi jsou předloženy názory autorů na současný stav v laboratorní diagnostice této infekce a jí vyvolaného onemocnění a možnosti zefektivnění péče o osoby postižené touto infekcí a onemocněním především v jejich časných stadiích, i když jsou si vědomi, že jejich soubor osob, na kterých byla data pro studii získána, je malý a limitující.
