Overview
Fertaľová T, Ondriová I, Hadašová L. The therapeutic potential of bee products The aim of this paper is to introduce apitherapy – a therapeutic method using bee products such as honey, propolis, royal jelly, pollen, bee venom, and hive air. These natural substances have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, regenerative, and immunostimulatory effects that can help treat wounds, infections, inflammations, chronic diseases, and metabolic disorders. Bee products can be a valuable addition to modern medicine, especially at a time of growing resistance to antibiotics. However, we would like to point out the need for scientific verification of their effects, proper processing, and caution in use, especially for people with allergies. This article is an inspiration to return to natural forms of treatment with an emphasis on quality, prevention, and a holistic approach to health.
