Screeningová studie úrovně ústní hygienyškolních dětí
Screeningová studie úrovně ústní hygieny a dotazníkové šetření u dětí jsou součásti kom-plexní studie, mající za cíl zmapovat situaci na poli péče o orální zdraví dětí a mládeže sezvláštním zřetelem na prevenci. Studie proběhla v letech 1998–1999. Obě fáze studie byly podohodě se školami začleněny do hodin zdravotní osvěty. Děti základních škol mají zajištěnoustomatologickou péči u smluvních školních lékařů. Hodnoty kpe resp. KPE u vyšetřenéhosouboru dětí nejsou vyšší než hodnoty zjištěné monitoringem z roku 1994 resp. 1997. Z dotaz-níkového šetření vyplynulo, že v některých aspektech orální hygieny mají žáci základní školylepší znalosti než studenti gymnázia a dívky prokázaly lepší přístup k orální hygieně nežchlapci.

The Screening study of the school children oral hygiene level and the question-naire study are part of a complex study. The aim of this study was to map out the situation onthe field of children’s and youth oral health care, with a special contrast on prevention. Thestudy was carried out in the years 1998 and 1999. Both parts of the study were incorporatedinto health education hours. Private dentists, so called „school dentists“ provide basic dentalcare for Basic school children. The dmf and (DMF) values for deciduous and permanent teethweren’t higher than the values found out in the monitoring of the year 1994 and 1997respectively. From the questionnaire survey we found out that, in some oral hygiene aspects,Basic school children are better informed than High school students. Furthermore we foundout that girls have better approach towards their oral hygiene than boys.
