Overview
This article presents selected data on social and health services for the elderly, especially in the area of long-term residential care. The authors have analysed the capacity and structure of social care and health services, the breakdown of the age and sex of users, the level of self-care capacity and need for nursing care, users of care allowances etc. The article also presents information on home health care, domiciliary care and other services for the elderly.
