Overview
It is a well-known fact that the Czech population is aging and the percentage of people with dementia is increasing. We marked an increased number of people who care about such patients at home. Family carers (usually partner, children and grandchildren) are, due to the demands of care and its long-term nature, exposed to chronic stress and weighed down by the burden that the care brings. One of the relevant forms of assistance are support groups.
