Repelenty a ochrana před hmyzem a klíšťaty

Komáři, klíšťata a různé další druhy obtěžujícího hmyzu jsou často přenašeči i závažných a život ohrožujících chorob, z tohoto důvodu je vhodné se proti nim chránit. Účinnou ochranou jsou repelenty. Cílem tohoto článku je seznámení s látkami nejčastěji používanými v repelentech, upozornění na jejich správné používání a získání přehledu o přípravcích používaných v ČR. Repelenty obsahující DEET, icaridin, IR3535 a citriodiol jsou při správném používání účinnými a bezpečnými prostředky ochrany proti hmyzu.

Mosquitoes, ticks and various other types of annoying insects are often carriers of serious and life-threatening diseases, for this reason it is advisable to protect yourself against them. Repellents are an effective protection. The aim of this article is to introduce you to the substances most often used in repellents, to warn you about their correct use and to create an overview of the preparations used in the Czech Republic. Repellents containing DEET, icaridin, IR3535 and citridiol are, when used correctly, effective and safe means of protection against insects.
