Scale for Tobacco Evaluation in Different Countries
Škála hodnocení kontroly tabáku v jednotlivých zemích
Tabák je letos ve světě příčinou pěti milionů úmrtí, v roce 2050 bude mít na svém kontě přes půl miliardy obětí, v České republice zemře každoročně 18 000 osob na nemoci způsobené kouřením, a to v průměru o 15 let dříve, než kdyby nekouřili (1). Kontrola tabáku je proto nutná, a to jak v jednotlivých zemích, tak celosvětově. Navíc musí být systematická. Popisovaná škála umožňuje její porovnání v jednotlivých zemích.

Overview
Tobacco causes worldwide over five millions of death, in 2050 it is expected to die over five hundred millions, in the Czech Republic eighteen thousand people die for diseases related to tobacco, in average 15 years earlier then no smokers. Systematic tobacco control is therefore necessary both in individual countries and worldwide. Tle desribed scale serves to its comparison in different countries.
