Does Smoking Cause Deterioration of the Prognosis in Occupational Disease?
Zhoršuje kouření prognózunemocí z povolání?
V práci je uveden souhrn poznatků o tom, jak škodlivé látky, uvolňující se při kouření, mohouzhoršovat prognózu nejdůležitějších nemocí z povolání, konkrétně pneumokonióz, karcinomuplic z radioaktivních látek a z azbestu, onemocnění cév z vibrací, karcinomu močového měchýře,otrav kadmiem, niklem a olovem a poruchy sluchu vyvolané hlukem.

The author summarizes findings on how noxious substances released during smoking may causedeterioration of the prognosis of the most important occupational diseases, i.e. pneumoconiosis,lung cancer caused by radioactive substances and asbestos, vascular disease caused by vibra-tions, carcinoma of the urinary bladder, cadmium, nickel and lead intoxication and impairedhearing caused by noise.
