Výskyt pľúcnejtrombembólie v materiáloch Ústavu patológie Lekárskejfakulty Univerzity P. J. Šafárika v Košiciach v odstupeštvrťstoročí
Na základe štúdia archivovaných pitevných protokolov sme analyzovali výskyt pľúcnej trombembólie v sekčnom materiáli z časového intervalu medzi rokom 1949 až 2000. Naša analýza poskytlainformáciu o postupnom a progresívnom náraste počtu zistených prípadov pľúcnej trombembóliev závislosti na čase hodnotenia s maximom výskytu v posledných rokoch 20. storočia.

Overview
Based on a review of archival autopsy protocols an analysis of the frequency of pulmonarythrombembolism in consecutive autopsy material is presented. The study interval for the analysiswas oriented to the period between the years 1949-2000. Our analysis has shown a gradual progression of incidence of pulmonary thrombembolism, as demonstrated in relative figures. Theapplied preventive measures against the development of thrombosis during hospitalization havenot substantially contributed to decreasing its frequency, what is not in accord with some recentobservations from other countries.
Key words:
pulmonary thrombembolism - thrombosis - frequency of pulmonary thrombembolism
