Preserflo MicroShunt –⁠ moderný mikroinvazívny prístup v chirurgickej liečbe glaukómu. Prehľad

Preserflo MicroShunt (Santen Pharmaceutical, Osaka, Japonsko) je moderný drenážny implantát určený na kontrolu vnútroočného tlaku (VOT) u pacientov s glaukómom s otvoreným uhlom, u ktorých zlyhala konzervatívna terapia. Implantát, vyrobený z biokompatibilného materiálu SIBS, umožňuje drenáž komorovej vody z prednej komory do subtenónového priestoru a tým zabezpečuje dlhodobé zníženie VOT. Cieľom tohto prehľadového článku je zhrnúť dostupné klinické a experimentálne poznatky o Preserflo MicroShunte, porovnať jeho účinnosť a bezpečnosť s tradičnou trabekulektómiou a definovať jeho miesto v súčasnom algoritme chirurgickej liečby glaukómu.

Overview

Preserflo MicroShunt (Santen Pharmaceutical, Osaka, Japan) is a new drainage implant designed for controlling intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma in cases where conservative therapy has failed. The implant, made of biocompatible SIBS material, drains aqueous humor from the anterior chamber to the sub-Tenon’s space, ensuring the long-term reduction of IOP. This review article summarizes the available clinical and experimental data on the Preserflo MicroShunt, compares its efficacy and safety to traditional trabeculectomy, and defines its role within the current glaucoma surgery algorithm.
