Autor definuje kortikosteroidy, popisuje fyziologii glukokortikoidů. Léčbukortikosteroidyrozděluje na substituční a farmakologickou. V práci je podán přehled kortikosteroidů a způsobůjejichapl ikace u vybraných ORL onemocnění.
