Translabyrinthine Approach to the Pontocerebellar Angle - Transtem-poral and Intracranial Stage
Translabyrintný prístupna pontocerebelárny uhol - transtemporálna a intrakraniálna fáza

Overview
The authors describe the translabyrinthine approach to the pontocerebellar angle -trepanation and intracranial stage. As a basis they use topographic-anatomical studies and surgicalpractice comprising 38 operations. They emphasize perfect knowledge of the topographic anatomyof the temporal bone for achieving an adequate approach, for overcoming the barrier of the duramater in the posterior fossa and for mastering the otoneurosurgical technique in the intracranialstage, which is also described in detail.
