Potřeba a poslání zdravotní výchovy

Článek vychází z pojmů „výchova“ a „zdraví“. Zdůrazňuje význam zdravotní výchovy pro běžnou medicínskou praxi i dlouhodobě orientovanou péči o zdraví. Autoři vymezují (a) zdravotní výchovu zaměřenou na pacienta a nemoci, (b) zdravotní výchovu orientovanou na hlavní rizikové faktory a (c) výchovu ke zdraví. Autoři poukazují na zásadní potřebu zdravotní výchovy a na nutnost ji i nadále rozvíjet ve všech jejích formách.

Overview

The concept of “education” and “health” is discussed in the presented article. The role of health education in the common medical praxis and the long-term health promotion are stressed. Authors define (a) health education aimed at the patients and diseases, (b) health education oriented at major risk factors, and (c) education to well being. Authors emphasize the essential need of health education and the necessity of its development in all forms.
