Cholelithiasis in childhood
Cholelitiáza v dětském věku
Konkrementy ve žlučníku a ve žlučových cestách a jejich komplikace jsou u dospělých pacientůnejčastějšími chorobami žlučových cest. V zemích s vysokou životní úrovní postihují 10-20 %obyvatelstva. Patří zároveň k chorobám, které jsou častou příčinou hospitalizace.Udětí je jejichvýskyt vzácnější. Častěji se s nimi setkáváme u adolescentů. Mohou se však vyskytovatv každém věkovém období. Autoři předkládají přehledový článek zabývající se touto problematikouvčetně kazuistik pacientů s rozdílnými klinickými projevy cholelitiázy u dětí v různémvěkovémobdobí, které byly vyšetřovány a léčeny na Oddělení dětské chirurgie a na Klinice dětía dorostu Fakultní nemocnice Královské Vinohrady.

Concrements in the gall bladder and in the biliary tract, and their complications are the mostfrequent disorders of the biliary tract in adult patients. In countries with a high standard ofliving, 10-20 % of the population is affected. They also belong to the affections which arefrequent cause of hospitalization. In children their occurrence is rare.They are found more oftenin adolescents. However, they can occur in any age group. The authors present a review of thisproblem including case histories with present a review of this problem including case historieswith various clinical manifestations of cholelithiasis in children of different ages that have beenexamined and treated at the Department of Child Surgery and at the Department for Childrenand Adolescents at the University Hospital Královské Vinohrady.
