Karcinom žaludku - současnádiagnostika a léčba
Karcinom žaludku zůstává i přes velký pokrok současné medicíny onemocněním se závažnouprognózou. Jednou z příčin je převažující záchyt pokročilých stadií. Naději na trvalé vyléčenípřitom dává nemocným jen radikální chirurgický výkon s kompletním odstraněním nádoru.Úspěšnost chirurgické léčby je však nepřímo úměrná pokročilosti choroby. Záchyt prvníchsymptomů, zjištění přesného rozsahu nádoru a radikalita operace tak zůstávají hlavnímifaktory, které rozhodují o prognóze nemocného. V práci přinášíme přehled současnýchmožnostídiagnostiky, léčby a prevence tohoto závažného onemocnění.

Gastric cancer, despite of the great progress of currentmedicine, remains disease with a seriousprognosis. One of the reason is a large number of patients with advanced stages. The only hopefor long time survival offers radical surgery with complete tumour removal. Successful rate ofsurgical treatment depends on the stage. Early diagnosis, accurate staging and radicality of thesurgical procedure remain one of the most important prognostic factors. The review of currentdiagnostics, treatment options and possibly prevention is the topic of our work.
