Problems of Basic Prevention and Screening of Tumourous Diseases in the GP's Practice
Problematika základní prevence a screeningu nádorových onemocnění v praxi praktického lékaře
V článku jsou popsány možné preventivní postupy, které jsou zaměřeny spíše na vyhledávání a sledování pacienta v péči praktického lékaře - pacienta v čase - dále jsou popsány metodiky sledování jednotlivých systémů s přihlédnutím k onkologickým onemocněním.Jednoznačný závěr zní: znalost pacienta, pravidelné sledování, základní a pečlivé fyzikální vyšetření se zaměřením na exponované systémy, poučení o samovyšetření a primární a sekundární prevence návyků a zlozvyků je nejlevnější a nejúčinnější metodou depistáže a prevence onkologických onemocnění a může vést při pravidelném provádění ke snížení incidence pozdních stadií nádorového onemocnění, a tím také ke snížení letality.

The author describes possible preventive procedures which could lead to or are focused on detection and follow up of patients under the care of the GP - the patient at a time when examination methds of different systems with regard to oncological diseases are described. The unequivocal conclusion is: knowledge of the patient, regular follow up, basic and careful physical examination focused on exposed systems, instruction of self-examination and primary and secondary prevention of habits and bad habits is the cheapest and most effective method of screening and prevention of oncological diseases and can lead, when practiced regularly, to a reduction of the incidence of late stages of oncological diseases and thus also to a reduction of their lethality.
