On the New Definition of Occupational Disease Risk (Commentary forMedical Practice)
K nové definici ohrožení nemocí z povolání (komentář pro lékařskou praxi)
Autoři upozorňují na novou definici pojmu ohrožení nemocí z povolání a způsob jeho posuzováníve smyslu zákona č. 155/2000 Sb., který nabyl účinnost od 1. ledna 2001. Problematika jeaktuální zejména pro lékaře závodní preventivní péče provádějící preventivní prohlídky. Autořiuvádějí, kdy je třeba ohrožení nemocí z povolání použít, a také návod, jak má v praxi lékař připodezření na ně postupovat.

The authors draw attention to the new definition of the term occupational disease risk and itsassessment in the sense of Act no. 155/2000 which is valid from January 1, 2001. The problemconcerns in particular doctors engaged in preventive care in workplaces. The authors mentionwhen it is necessary to use occupational risk and instructions how to proceed when occupationalrisk is suspected.
