Chronické hepatitidy u dětí -⁠ diagnostika a léčba

Chronické hepatitidy u dětí a jejich následky (jaterní cirhóza a hepatocelulární karcinom) představují závažný zdravotnický problém. V současnosti je popsána celá řada virů a mikrobů způsobujících postižení jaterního parenchymu. Mezi klasicky hepatotropní patogeny patří především viry lidských hepatitid. Odhaduje se, že až 15-30 % transplantací jater se provádí v důsledku chronických hepatitid B a C, přičemž hepatitidy B a C jsou celosvětově nejčastějšími krví přenášenými onemocněními. Autor se zabývá diagnostickými a terapeutickými postupy u chronických hepatitid v dětském věku.

Overview

Chronic hepatitis in children and its consequences (liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma) present a very serious problem. At present a wide range of viruses a microbes which cause damage of liver tissue is described. Classical hepatotropic pathogens include in the first place viruses of human hepatitis. It is estimated that up 15-30 % of liver transplantations are made owing to chronic hepatitis B and C, hepatitis B and C being worldwide disease most often transmitted by blood. The author is concerned with diagnostic and therapeutic processes in chronic hepatitis in children.
