Článek je naměřen na metodiku hodnocení vědecké práce pomocí citačních rejstříků a Impactfactoru zpracovávaných producentským střediskem Ústavu vědeckých informací ve Philadel-phii. Kriticky se zabývá kritérii využití impact factoru a hodnocení vědeckých pracovníků.
