Acute Renal Failure in Salmonellosis
Akutní selhání ledvin při salmonelóze
Autoři předkládají kazuistiky tří nemocných hospitalizovaných v letech 1995-1996 na Infekční klinice FN v Plzni pro závažný průběh salmonelózy s rozvojem extrarenálního selhání ledvin při dehydratačním šoku. Zaměřují se na přítomnost některých predisponujících faktorů, které se mohly podílet na rozvoji těžkého průběhu průjmového onemocnění.

The authors submit the case-histories of three patients hospitalised in 1995-1996 at the Infectious Diseases Clinic of the Faculty Hospital in Plzeň on account of a severe course of salmonellosis with the development of extrarenal renal failure associated with dehydration shock. Their attention is focused on the presence of some predisposing factors which could participate in the severe course of the diarrhoeal disease.
