Overview
Major statement: The aim of the paper is to provide an overview about hematuria in pediatric patients in urological practice.
Hematuria is defined as the presence of eryth‑rocytes in the urine. The spectrum of causes of he‑maturia is the same in pediatric and adult patients. However, the frequency of the individual causes of hematuria is different in pediatric and adults patients. The aim of this paper is to provide a brief overview of hematuria in pediatric patients in urological practice.
