X-linked Hypophosphatemic Rickets
X-vázaná hypofosfatemická křivice
Křivice je charakterizována poruchou mineralizace epifyzeálních růstových plotének, což vede k deformitám zejména dlouhých kostí a v konečném důsledku k růstovému opoždění. Křivice je obvykle rozlišována na formy závislé na vitaminu D a na ty, které jsou podmíněny hypofosfatémií. Etiopatogeneze přitom může být determinována hereditárně nebo jde o formy získané. Nejčastější vrozenou křivicí je familiární X-vázaná hypofosfatemická rachitida. Autoři podávají přehled o tomto onemocnění.

Overview
Rickets is the term applied to impaired mineralization at the epiphyseal growth-plate, resulting in deformity and impaired linear growth of long bones. Rickets may be classified as vitamin D-related, secondary to low dietary calcium and those due to hypophosphatemia. These etiological factors may be inherited or acquired. The most commonly inherited form of rickets is X-linked hypophosphatemic rickets. As a review authors present some aspects of this disease.
