Changes of Leptin in Chronically Sick Children
Zmeny leptínu u chronicky chorých detí
Leptín je proteínový hormón tvoriaci sa prevažne v adipocytoch, ktorý sa z organizmu vylučuje obličkami.Hypoleptinémia je spojená so znížením percenta telesného tuku a pozoruje sa pri malnutrícii a vytrvalostnomšporte. Hyperleptinémia je prítomná u pacientov s chronickou renálnou insuficienciou a u obéznych jedincov.Autori vyšetrili v súbore 80 detí (pacienti s chronickou renálnou insuficienciou, malnutríciou, obezitou a kontrolnáskupina zdravých detí) sérové koncentrácie leptínu a porovnali ich s nutričnými a antropometrickými parametrami(BMI, SD BMI, albumín, prealbumín, transferín). Leptin is a protein hormone formed mainly in adipocytes and excreted by the kidneys. Hypoleptinaemia isassociated with a reduction of body fat percentage and is found in malnutrition and endurance sports. Hyperleptinaemiais found in patients with chronic renal insufficiency and in obese subjects.
