Hladiny kadmia v krvi u dvoch nutričných skupín detía dospievajúcich
Hladiny kadmia v celkovej krvi boli merané v skupine 18 vegetariánskych detí (vek 10 - 14 rokov) a 35dospievajúcich vegetariánov (15 - 18 rokov) s priemernou dobou vegetarianizmu 6,6 a 6,0 rokov. Hodnoty boliporovnávané so skupinami na zmiešanej strave (omnivori; n = 35 deti; n = 34 dospievajúci). Vegetariáni malivýznamne vyššiu priemernú hladinu kadmia oproti omnivorom - deti 1,30 ± 0,18 vs 0,74 ± 0,07 mg/l, P
