Poruchy rastu - stále aktuálny problém
Autori upozorňujú na dôležitosť sledovania individuálnej rastovej krivky každého dieťaťa pre včasné rozpoz-nanie poruchy rastu. Uvádzajú niekoľko typických rastových kriviek pri rôznych poruchách rastu. Zdôrazňujúdôležitosť endokrinologického vyšetrenia čo najskôr po zistení poruchy rastu dieťaťa, aby sa zavčasu podchytililiečiteľné poruchy.

The importance to follow up the individual growth curve in every child is stressed. In th e case of growthretardation, analysis of growth curves could elucidate the cause of growth impairment. Some typical growth curvesfor the main causes of growth retardation are reported. Early diagnosis of growth retardation is necessary to avoidlate onset of therapy in treatable disorders.
