Treatment of a Narrow Upper Dental Arch by Elastic Expansive Devices
Léčba úzkého horního zubního obloukupružnými expanzními aparáty
Autor referuje o zkušenostech s léčbou úzkého horního zubořadí při použití pružných expanzních aparátů pevně fixovaných pomocí ortodontických kroužků k chrupu. Na základě poznatků uvažuje o vhodných indikacích k použití Quad helixu a Bihelixu s ohledem na aspektydlouhodobé stability výsledku léčby. Uvádí poznatky a výsledky několikaleté studie.

The author gives an account on experience with treatment of a narrow upperdental arch using elastic expansive devices firmly fixed by means of orthodontic rings to thedentition. Based on his findings, he reflects on suitable indications for the use of Quad helixand Bihelix with regard to long-term stability of the therapeutic results. He presents thefindings and results of a study extending over several years.
