Autori v prehľade dostupnej literatúry opisujú doterajšie poznatky o liečbe leukoplakia oris.Ide o konzervačné metódy. Referujú o účinkoch beta karoténu, retinole a retinoidoch. Z vita-mínov referujú o skúsenostiach s kyselinou ascorbovou, alpha-tokoferolu a o kombinácii anti-oxidant.

The authors describe available knowledge reported in the literature on thetreatment of leukoplakia oris. Conservative methods are used. They discuss the effect ofbeta-carotene, retinol and retinoids. As to vitamins, they mention experience assembled withvitamin C, alpha-tocopherol and with a combination of antioxidants.
