Overview

 The authors focus on an overview of factors influencing sexual satisfaction, particularly among women. Based on a review of research, they explore the impact of the nature and quality of partner relationships, women‘s ability to achieve orgasm, their sexual orientation and types of sexual activities, sociodemographic characteristics (such as religion, education, and age), possible illnesses and their treatments, personality traits, and their experiences or traumas on satisfaction with their sexual life.
