Farmaceutika v konventní knihovně benediktinského kláštera Broumov v roce 1801

Článek popisuje složení knižní sbírky medicínské literatury v knihovně kláštera Broumov podle katalogu z roku 1801, zvláště přibližuje knihy z oblasti farmacie a botaniky. Provádí porovnání se současným stavem knihovního oddělení "Medici" a ze záznamů na dochovaných knihách se pokouší určit předchozí majitele a uživatele knih a zjistit, zda a jak klášter v lékárnictví komunikoval s okolním světským prostředím.

Overview

The article describes composition of the medical collection in the Broumov Benedictine convent library based on a catalogue from the year 1801, with detailed description of titles on pharmacy and botanics. This is followed by comparison with contemporary content of the "Medici" library department, identification of previous book owners and users based on records on preserved books, and an attempt to find out how the monastery communicated with its secular surroundings in the field of pharmacy.
