Diabetická makulopatie (DMP) je významnou, avšak léčitelnou příčinou zrakových ztrát u diabetiků 1. a 2. typu diabetes mellitus (DM). V práci je sledovánapatogeneze diabetického makulárního edému (DME), klasifikace, diagnostikaa standard léčby DMP, včetně rozdílného postupu léčby současné DMP a proliferativní diabetické retinopatie u DM 1. a 2. typu.

Diabetic maculopathy (DMP) is an important but curable of eyesight losses indiabetic with type 1 and2 diabetic mellitus (DM). In the submitted work the authorinvestigates the pathogenesis of diabetic macular oedema (DME). Classification,diagnosis and standard of treatment of DMP, incl. the different therapeuticprocedure used in concurrent DMP and proliferative diabetic retinopathy in DMtype 1 and 2.
