Phacoemulsification in Eyes after Pars Plana Vitrectomy with Implantation ofSilicone Oil
Fakoemulzifikace u očí po pars planavitrektomii s implantací silikonovéhooleje
Stále více se setkáváme s častou komplikací jinak úspěšné vitrektomie - katarak-tou. Objevuje se až v 50 % do 5 let od PPV, u diabetických pacientů až v 80 %.Dočasné či trvalé tamponády oka procento vzniku katarakty zvyšují. Autořizmiňují metodiku a výhody operace katarakty fakoemulzifikací u takto kompli-kovaných očí.

We are faced with increasing frequency of an otherwise successful vitrectomy -cataract. It develops in as many a as 50% within five years after PPV, in diabeticpatients in as many as 80%. Temporary or permanent tamponades of the eyeincrease the percentage of cataracts. The authors mention the method of phaco-emulsification and its advantages in thus complicated eyes.
