Overview

The presented case study presents the diagnostic methods used in a 42‑year ‑⁠ old patient with atypical course of exudative pericarditis. The definitive diagnosis is angiosarcoma of the heart. Angiosarcoma of the heart is a rare malignant tumor that most often affects the right atrium. The treatment of angiosarcomas is surgical. The prognosis of heart sarcomas is poor.
